Tennis power couple Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas had a special supporter join them at the recent Qatar Open – Paula’s mother Mireia.
Mireia Badosa was spotted in Paula’s player box cheering her on during matches and also spending time with her boyfriend Tsitsipas. According to Paula, having her mother there meant the world.
“It’s so special to me that my mom and Stefanos are bonding and getting to know each other better,” said an emotional Paula. She explained that having two key pillars of support together gives her great joy and comfort.
Tsitsipas also remarked that he was happy to continue building his relationship with his potential future mother-in-law. “Mireia has welcomed me into their family. She’s an amazing woman,” said Stefanos.
Photos of Mireia embracing Paula after victories and chatting with Tsitsipas at dinner have warmed fans’ hearts. Her presence seems to have brought Paula good fortune as well, as the Spaniard reached the Qatar final before falling to Iga Swiatek.
