Miami Masters: Zverev reaches third round, defeating Auger-Aliassime

German Alexander Zverev, the No 4 seed, moved into the third round of the Miami Masters by winning against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-2, 6-4 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday night.

Zverev, ranked No 5, will play the winner of the match between Daniel Evans and American Christopher Eubanks, the No 31 seed, next.

In the previous round of the Miami Open, Auger-Aliassime, now ranked No 36, beat Australian qualifier Adam Walton (7-5, 6-4). It’s the fifith tournament in a row in which the Canadian doesn’t win more than un match.
