Spring’s fab fashion launches include a new Aqua collaboration with celebrity stylist Liat Baruch and a vibrant Michael Kors anniversary bag.
This spring season promises exciting collaborations, a designer makeup collection straight off the runway and a must-have bag available in an array of fabrications.
Here are the chicest new luxury launches to add to your shopping cart:
Italian designer Miuccia Prada is bringing her glamorous brand of “ugly chic” to Prada Beauty, the house’s new refillable makeup and treatment collection.
Highlights include Prada Reveal skin optimizing foundation, which gets rave reviews online, as well as Prada Dimensions eye palettes and two types of matte lipstick, all developed by Global Creative Makeup Artist Lynsey Alexander.
“Generally speaking, opt for pieces that whisper rather than scream,” advises top Hollywood tastemaker Liat Baruch.
The celebrity stylist — who curated Sofia Richie Grainge’s iconic wedding wardrobe and has worked with Kirsten Dunst and Connie Britton — is partnering with Bloomingdale’s exclusive label Aqua on an elegant capsule.
The 28-piece collection features tailored separates, from a one-shoulder crochet midi dress and a cropped tweed jacket to strappy thong sandals that go with everything.
The label has partnered with tennis champ Roger Federer on its first high-performance sports lifestyle collection.
The capsule features four ultralight sunglasses and two shield styles, each fitted with rubber grip nose pads.
Lens options include polarized, mirrored and custom color enhancement (which optimizes hues specific to an environment like water or a forest).
Buckle up for spring!
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Michael Michael Kors, the label has introduced the “Colby,” a chic shoulder bag.
With twin front pockets and statement hardware, it comes in materials ranging from two-tone neoprene to silver leather.
“For me, the most enduring pieces are the ones that combine style and pragmatism,” says the designer. “The ‘Colby’ is both utilitarian and luxurious at the same time — all the things I look for in a timeless design.”
