The Kansas City Chiefs are Super Bowl-bound in part because of the thrilling connection between quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce.
They’ve become one of the most dangerous duos in NFL playoff history for opposing defenses, and the two’s undeniable chemistry helped the Chiefs get major production against a vaunted Baltimore Ravens defense in Sunday’s AFC championship game.
Mahomes and Kelce are virtually unstoppable in the postseason, and the two old friends and teammates relished in a chance for yet another Super Bowl appearance during their team’s AFC title celebration.
Kelce is absolutely right. It cannot get old to win as much as the Chiefs have in the Mahomes era, and we doubt it’ll get old anytime soon as long as these two are playing together.
It’s very possible the Chiefs will win a third Super Bowl in four seasons, cementing this team as a New England Patriots-level dynasty. That might get old for non-Kansas City fans, but it’s very welcomed to the Chiefs Kingdom.
