Recently, social media got hit by the ‘Fedal’ storm as Roger Federer paid a visit to the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy in Mallorca. They posed for a picture together at the venue and here are the recent developments surrounding that incident.
Rafael Nadal is having a good time off the court at the moment
The 37-year-old Spaniard accompanied the Swiss Maestro on his visit and became his tour guide at his facility. The camaraderie between the two archrivals has reached its pinnacle over the last few years. Nadal shared a few images of both of them at the academy and thanked Roger Federer for accepting his invitation. He wrote, “Great to have you here with me today my friend. Thanks for the visit and hope to see you again very soon,” in his caption on Instagram.
The US Open page reposted Nadal’s post with the caption, “Remembering the good times.” Rafael Nadal then responded to the post by commenting, “Not remembering, enjoying the good time today.”
Earlier this month Rafael Nadal revealed that Roger Federer is the player who has left the greatest impression on him. Their bond on and off the court is still celebrated by many in the tennis world.
